The transit workers are on strike. No bus or subway service.
Anti-public transportation types will use this as an example of why people driving around in cars and wasting gas is better than energy efficient public transportation.

What on earth will King Bloomberg do? Court day is today. What will Judge Judy say about this one?

Republicans will use it to once again suppress the rights of workers to strike. Reminds me of Reagan's major assault on workers rights when he busted up the air traffic controllers' strike. On the surface it looks like common sense, but in its essence it is not good at all.
People who complain about the inconvenience should think about our working conditions: "Do I have good affordable health care? Do I have enough vacation? Am I working too much overtime?"
First they will bust the transportation workers' union, and then they will squash you when you dare to ask for something.

Stacy, I'm back from vacation. The Big Apple must have something going on that we can discuss. I am looking forward to your next post.
